Following our Raw Cleanse for 2-4 weeks provides you with live enzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fatty acids from the foods you consume, and helps you lose weight, yet gives you enough energy to work out and do anything you would normally do only you feel great! This diet/cleanse aids with resolving gastrointestinal dysfunction, pain, inflammation and other ailments, so now is the time to make a change.  After two – four weeks, add some beef, chicken, lamb or wild fish for more protein.

For two weeks, eat all of the raw, non-starchy vegetables, low-glycemic fruits, tree-grown nuts and seeds you enjoy. No meat or dairy of any kind, no starchy vegetables of any kind, no grain-based foods of any kind, no alcohol of any kind (yes, no beer or wine), no sodas, no processed food of any kind. Drink only water (although, if eliminating coffee and/or tea means you will not follow this cleanse, try to limit your coffee and tea to 8oz per day. Drink more water to offset these beverages).

Suggestions for foods (and all of their parts) to eaten raw and may be juiced with no sugar added. (NOTE: fruits should be consumed a minimum of 2 hours separated from all other food, except Granny Smith apples):

All dark green, leafy vegetables and Lettuces
Apples (try to avoid Fuji and other high-sugar sweet apples)
Artichokes (plain or with lemon)
Berries (all types except strawberries)
Broccoli (limited; do not consume raw if you have any thyroid imbalance)
Brussels sprouts (limited if you have any thyroid imbalance)
Cabbage of all types (limited if you have any thyroid imbalance)
Cauliflower (limited if you have any thyroid imbalance)
Coconut (raw), raw coconut aminos (not to exceed 3 tsp daily)
Flax seeds (ground or oil)
Granny Smith apples (may be eaten anytime with any food)
Grapefruit (may add honey and/or sea salt and spices)
Green beans
Herbs of any kind
Legumes (such as Navy beans, Lentils, Garbanzo beans, Kidney beans, etc.)
Low-glycemic fruits and their juices (consume at least 2 hours separated from any other food except vegetables; NO oranges, tangerines, strawberries, bananas or grapes)
Melons (all types)
Oils (olive, safflower, sesame, sunflower, walnut – NEVER use soybean oil, aka: “vegetable oil”)
Onions (including garlic, leeks, green onions, scallions)
Peppers of any kind
Pumpkin seeds
Raw apple cider vinegar
Raw Honey
Spices of any kind
Squash (except zucchini)
Stevia (unprocessed only; it will be green!)
Sunflower seeds
Tree-grown nuts
Vinegar (any variety that is raw, non-pasteurized only)
Water Melon


Sunflower or pumpkin seeds (raw)  1/4 cup =  8 grams protein

Almonds and walnuts (raw)  1 ounce = 6-7 grams protein

Hummus (raw garbanzo beans)   1 cup = 20 grams protein

Raw, undenatured / cold-prepared, unsweetened whey protein (soy-free) run between 20-30 grams per serving

Please do not eat or drink:
• Any starchy vegetables (corn, peas, parsnips, potatoes, soy in any form, turnips, zucchini, etc.)
• Any high-sugar fruits (bananas, grapes, oranges, strawberries, tangerines, etc.)
• Any sugar or artificial sweeteners (including Asparatame, sucralose, etc., such as Equal, Splenda, Sweet n’ Low, Truvia or any other patented processed product); you may use raw honey or real stevia (it will be green)
• Anything containing yeast / fungus (including, blue cheeses, mushrooms, truffles, etc.)  

NOTE: IF YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE FUNGAL OR OTHER PARASITIC OVERGROWTH, please eliminate all fruit and fruit juices other than Granny Smith apples and blueberries.
