THE ANTIFUNGAL FOOD CHOICES LIST/DIET ADDRESSES AVOIDING FOODS THAT FEED FUNGUS AND PARASITES; while some foods/beverages may be included on other diets, the Antifungal Food Choices List/Diet is different from the Low FODMAPs or Histamine Intolerance Diets. Each diet is a bit different from the other…here is one example: On the Low FODMAPs, you may have hard cheese, because the lactose was used up in the making of that cheese, but you cannot have milk or soft cheeses that contain lactose; however, on Low Histamine Intolerance List, you cannot have milk or any cheeses because they cause histamine. ALL Dairy is permitted on the Antifungal Food Choices List/Diet.
These anti-fungal food choices are for all who love their sugar and carbs, who have any health issue, from being overweight to diabetes, gastrointestinal trouble to cancer, these recommendations will help to starve your body of the toxins that love the foods you crave! It is a “whole foods,” well-balanced lifestyle choice for eating properly.

Refined sugars, artificial sweeteners and chemical / processed foods are the most likely catalysts for most of the diagnosed diseases and disorders in this country, including Cancer, diabetes, chronic urinary tract infections, heart disease, upper respiratory disorders, airborne and food allergies, fibroids, fibrocystic breasts, yeast infections, fungal nails, seborrhea, psoriasis and other skin disorders, acid reflux, diarrhea or constipation and IBS, many neurological disorders and more. Most importantly, sugar is the food for bacteria, yeast and fungal overgrowth, viruses and parasites. After decades of consuming alarmingly high amounts of animal fat, iodized salt, grains, starches, alcohol, caffeine, food additives and other toxins, it is time to get serious about health. ~ “Eat God’s food, not mankind’s food.”
Foods allowed (Personal religious preferences may override some of these):
- Almond “milk” (organic, unsweetened) and almond “flour”
- Apples (Granny Smith and other green apples only)
- Beans (all types, including green beans, Navy beans, Garbanzo beans, etc., NO soybeans)
- Beef, all types
- Beets (limited amounts, but this is a great blood toner!)
- Berries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries only!)
- Bread (is NOT permitted; however, you may try SIMPLY TRUDY’S “bread” is bound using psyllium husk powder and honey, both of which ferment and can dehdrate, so if you experience cramping, bloating, gas, contipation or diarrhea, or any other gastrointestinal disturbances consuming this product, please do NOT re-purchase)
- Brussels sprouts
- Cabbage (all types)
- Carrots (limited amounts but contains natural anti-fungal enzymes when freshly juiced and consumed within 15 minutes)
- Cocoa powder (organic; may be sweetened with Stevia)
- Coconut (organic, unsweetened “milk,” shredded coconut and oil – contains natural anti-fungal EFAs)
- Dairy (All, including butter, cream, sour cream, cheese, cottage cheese, etc.; preferably organic, whole fat, and raw where available – NO skim or 2%, please) (NOTE!! THOSE WITH AUTO-IMMUNE DISORDERS MUST NOT HAVE DAIRY)
- Dark green leafy vegetables (all types)
- Eggs (all types except “Whites only” in a carton – they are preserved with chemicals)
- Fish and amphibians (wild, not farmed)
- Grapefruit (may add sea salt, raw honey, spices), lemons and limes and zest of any citrus
- Green beans
- Herbs (all types)
- Honey (raw only; not more than 1 Tbsp daily)
- Kefir (organic with common, not GMO, flora – preferably raw)
- Legumes (see beans)
- Lo-Han sweetener (100% pure; will be brown, such as Julian Bakery 100% Monk Fruit)
- Nuts (see Tree-Grown Nuts; NO PEANUTS or PEANUT BUTTER)
- Oils (all tree-grown nut and seed only, NO soybean or peanut oils)
- Onions (including garlic, leeks, green onions, scallions)
- Peppers (any type)
- Poultry and birds, all types (including turkey, chicken, squab, pheasant, quail, etc.)
- Raw apple cider vinegar
- Rice protein shakes and Rice “milk” (organic, whole-grain brown only)
- Seeds (flax cut/ground, pumpkin, sunflower, chia, apple, etc.)
- Shellfish, all types (wild, not farmed)
- Squash (all types)
- Stevia (unprocessed only; it will be green)
- Tree-grown Nuts (almonds, cashews, filberts, Macademia, pistachios, pecans, walnuts, etc.; these also significantly drop LDL and Triglycerides, so eat daily for snacks!)
- Vegetables (NON-starchy only)
- Vinegar (preferably raw, organic but any that are authentic and do not contain caramel sugars)
- Whey protein (organic, cold-processed, undenatured)
- Yogurt (organic with common, not GMO, flora and NOT frankenflora that is patented – preferably raw) (NOTE!! THOSE WITH AUTO-IMMUNE DISORDERS MUST NOT HAVE DAIRY)
Drink water. While various teas, including green tea, will not feed fungus as long as you are not adding sugar to them, they do ALL contain various chemicals (caffeine, tannins, etc.) and you must drink extra water to help flush the chemicals inherent in them from your system. The general rule of thumb is to consume half your body weight in ounces of water daily (ie – if you weigh 100 lbs, you need 50 ounces water daily; 200 lbs, you need 100 ounces daily)
NO soy (in any form, except as lecithin, a trace emulsifier in many supplements), NO wheat, barley, rye, quinoa or other grain, NO peanuts, peas, corn, sugar or artificial sweeteners (aka: no diet anything), NO skim or fat-free dairy (use organic, raw whole dairy when possible, including cream), NO yeast-based breads, oranges, tangerines, strawberries, bananas, grapes, NO fruit juices, dried fruits, mushrooms, truffles, blue cheeses or other yeasty, moldy or fungal foods.
Dr.Helen Pensanti points out that, even if you are not consuming flour products, gluten is incorporated in nearly all processed foods in varying amounts, usually to enhance “protein” content for those who consume high protein diets, so we strongly suggest consuming NO processed foods of any kind, sticking only with whole foods, as God created them.
JUICING & JUICES: Approved vegetables (above) may be juiced but no fruits may be juiced (except for Granny Smith apples). Please do not consume juices from local Juice Bars; they are far too high in sugar from concentrated fruits. The best juicer to use is a masticating or pulverizing juicer, such as the Omega 6000 or 8000 series, which separates the juice from all fiber and pulp.

ABOUT MILK: As we often say, humanity is the only species on Earth that consumes milk after weaning, and it is another species’ milk, so drink water! If you feel you need milk, try to find raw, unprocessed milk locally. If you consume fake “milks,” please stay away from soy milk, which also contains the chemicals that cause the issues above.
