No need to apologize, Debbie…my comment is not against NSC at all. My concern is purely that we have had no relationship with the company for 4 – 5 years and we have no way of knowing anything about their products, ingredients currently used, where the ingredients come from, or anything else about them, at this point.
For instance, we used to highly recommend their Caprylic Acid formula as part of an Antifungal Rotation Regimen because it was from coconut, one of the best antifungals available. Recently, one of our long-time customers complained that the Caprylic Acid formula has completely changed, with the caprylic acid coming from minerals instead of from coconut, and including a number of antifungals, which would not fit our Antifungal Rotation Regimen, because it is our believe that you should only use therapeutic amounts of ONE highly potent antifungal at a time, not a formulation with smaller amounts of many antifungals included in one serving. The customer also said many of their formulations have changed, so while I used to make recommendations about their products even 4 – 5 years ago, I would have no way of making an intelligent recommendation about any of their products today. That is why I recommend calling NSC and asking what dosage they recommend for therapeutic purposes.

This is a bad season for allergies this year! I am currently successfully using SOURCE NATURALS BETA GLUCAN 250MG (1 at bedtime EMPTY STOMACH) WITH DR. SHEN’S SINUS (2 tablets upon rising and 2 tablets at bedtime EMPTY STOMACH; may also take 2 in the middle of the day, if necessary, SO MAY NEED TWO BOTTLES but the great news is that taking it for one month typically resolves allergies for the season). I took this amount for 3 weeks and resolved everything, even though I am seeing pollen dusting outside surfaces still! Regarding NSC, please contact the company direct to discuss how they would have your son use their products.
It is also equally important to avoid fermenting foods that cause histamine, so you may want to read Dr. Lorna’s article in the Reference Center: HISTAMINE INTOLERANCE LIST/Diet for those who are unable to live without antihistamines every day, triggering your mast cells to release histamine.

I was trying to find the past post for allergies in regards to my son but a lot of post came up. Anyway, my son is still taken NSC-100 Extra strength 1 of them and NSC-24 Allergy Formula 2 of them. He’s taken them in the morning with his breakfast. I remember you posted about taking vitamins or pills without food if there is no vit B. I could have misunderstood. Should he start taking these at night? He’s been sneezing a lot more lately. Or even increase what he’s taking?
