Since you have had chemotherapy and radiation you need to clear your body of the toxins just as Vicki instructed you to do. Keep your diet clean and free from refined sugars and carbohydrates as well as preservatives and additives. You will need an adequate amount of protein, but not too much, as not to subject your body to a heavy digestive burden. Three ounces of good quality organic meat, fish, poultry, or eggs for at least two meals is sufficient to meet your protein requirements. You will need to consume lots of gently cooked vegetables, organic or non-GMO, of every color to help you detoxify and meet your antioxidant needs. Stay light on the fruit and limit consumption to two whole fruits a day and only those listed in the anti-fungal food choices. Your body will require a lot of antioxidants to recover from what has truly been a major stress on your body. Consume only whole non-gluten grains, organic if possible. They will be needed to help re-seed your G.I. tract. If you can afford it, add LIPOSOMAL GLUTATHIONE to the list of supplements that Vicki recommended. Your body has been depleted of its major antioxidant, which will need to be replenished, until your body is able to adequately manufacture enough on its own. We are here to help! Dr. Lorna
YIKES, Carl, you have been through a LOT in the past few months but I am so happy that you found the problem and that it was resolved. Once chemo and radiation therapies are concluded, I suggest at least THREE MONTHS of systemically cleansing all of the chemicals from the chemotherapy from your body using the FIGTreeVitamins.com SYSTEMIC CLEANSING Package, featuring Enteric Proteolytic Systemic Oral Enzymes (PSOEs) Tablets as well as Alpha Lipoic Acid and Spirulina, which bind to and expel chemicals. I would also include the FIGTreeVitamins.com VITAMIN C POWDER Calcium Ascorbic Acid (1 scoop 2-3 times daily or more until just before diarrhea), as the combination of PSOEs, Spirulina and Vitamin C Powder will help in the healing process. In addition, please consider taking the FIGTree Vitamins EXTRA STRENGTH BETA GLUCAN slow release tablets to enhance proper immune system function; this is a stronger glucan, as is the C Powder, than those in the FIGTreeVitamins.com BASIC WELLNESS PACKAGE. I am sure Dr. Lorna has additional suggestions.

It has been many months since I wrote to you all. I did the test through the parasite center and it showed parasites. Here where I live in Louisiana there aren’t any real doctors specializing in parasites, so I went to a specialist in Atlanta. He and his team performed surgery, first a biopsy of a mass in my brain that turned out to be parasites. Then they removed what they could and had me go through chemotherapy and raidiation therapies. I have fought for my health and my life for months ever since I contact you here. This live chat is a blessing to me and my family as well as your show. If my wife and I hadn’t found you, I know I would be dead, or brain dead but the surgeons in Atlanta caught this just in time. They also told me that cancer cysts are parasites. I wanted to thank you for all your help. I have a few more months of chemo and raidiation left to do here in Louisiana and then will return to Atlanta for an all clear. I want to know what I can take after the chemo is done. I know there is a cleanse and something for my imusystem. I am already eating only what is on your antifungus diet list and using the wellness package and I know that is keeping me stronger. What is next? I am in faith, with God’s help and yours, I am going to be stronger and healthier than I have ever been. Thank you.
From experience I had during the early 1980’s in the health insurance industry, I am aware that MANY people who immigrated to California from Mexico had cystercercosis, which is caused by a parasite that most commonly attacks the brain; it is prevalent among those who consume raw or undercooked pork or game meats, which was unnervingly common among people working in just one facility of a large factory chain our health insurance company insured in Los Angeles. There were over a dozen cases in that one factory, and they had factories nationwide. While most people did not think much of it, I pointed out that, if so many Mexican immigrants working in just that one company facility had this problem, how many more people from Mexico, living and working throughout CA and the U.S., also have this same parasite, but go untested and untreated OR improperly treated? Nobody paid any attention to my concerns, which may be why parasites are of such interest to me now.
With cysticercosis, the contaminated meat is infected with the larvae (cysts) of a tape worm called Taenia solium. The initial symptoms are abdominal discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fatigue, and fever. The infection caused by these cysts is called cysticercosis or, when the cysts form in the brain, neurocysticercosis. These cysts cause few symptoms initially, eventually triggering inflammation, swelling, and symptoms such as headaches, seizures, personality changes, and mental impairment as the parasites feed on the brain and continue laying more cysts.
In 2014, the CDC wrote:
Cysticercosis is a parasitic tissue infection caused by larval cysts of the tapeworm Taenia solium. These larval cysts infect brain, muscle, or other tissue, and are a major cause of adult onset seizures in most low-income countries. A person gets cysticercosis by swallowing eggs found in the feces of a person who has an intestinal tapeworm. People living in the same household with someone who has a tapeworm have a much higher risk of getting cysticercosis than people who don’t. People do not get cysticercosis by eating undercooked pork. Eating undercooked pork can result in intestinal tapeworm if the pork contains larval cysts. Pigs become infected by eating tapeworm eggs in the feces of a human infected with a tapeworm.
Both the tapeworm infection, also known as taeniasis, and cysticercosis occur globally. The highest rates of infection are found in areas of Latin America, Asia, and Africa that have poor sanitation and free-ranging pigs that have access to human feces. Although uncommon, cysticercosis can occur in people who have never traveled outside of the United States. For example, a person infected with a tapeworm who does not wash his or her hands might accidentally contaminate food with tapeworm eggs while preparing it for others.
In the United States, cysticercosis is considered one of the NEGLECTED PARASITIC INFECTIONS (NPIs), a group of five parasitic diseases that have been targeted by CDC for public health action.
Read more about parasites in our article, in the Reference Center, called PARASITES IN A NUTSHELL (be sure to link onto additional article links at the bottom of the article, such as our ANTI-PARASITE ROTATION REGIMEN using FigtreeVitamins’ PARASITE PACKAGE, and check your current diet against our ANTIFUNGAL FOOD CHOICES LIST diet, which is intended to prevent fungal, parasitic and other microbial overgrowth by helping to starve toxic microbes by omitting the foods and beverages that help them thrive.
This specifically chosen combination of products naturally kills parasites without the long-term harmful effects that can come from using prescription antiparasitic drugs, PLUS, they also address fungal overgrowth, so it is a two for one deal.

You talked about a woman who vacationed in Mexico and thought she had parasites. Is that common about Mexico? Please tell me how to get tested and when. I come from Mexico. My parents brought me to California when I was 5, but all of us grew up eating rare pork and beef so I wonder if I have intestinal parasites too. You said the tests don’t work unless you do them at the full moon. How does all this work? You also talked about diet but I didn’t listen very well. That woman said she has a foggy brain. I do too. My wife thinks I’m losing my mind completely. I also get headaches that seem to coincide with the full moon, so I’ll pay attention more the end of the month. You said what to read. Do you have a link? Thanks for your help. I need to do something about this now.
